simple question...

how do i find out what operating system version i have? also, what is the latest version out right now for the 2000xl?

also, how can i find out if the effects card is working properly, and wether or not i have the SMPTE option? i just bought my MPC used and I just want to make sure I have these things without having to open up my unit. thanks, peace

go to midicase.com, and on it there are some "hidden screens" u can access, one of them will tell u the os.
