I thought you couldn't use a 250mb zip with the 2000xl. Is this true?

depends on which drive you use...you got a 100Mb version and a 250 Mb version

If you are talking about zip 'drives', then you can use a 100 or 250. If you are talking about zip 'disks' you can use 100 no matter what, but you can only use 250 if you have a 250 drive.
