volume knob on mp-2k

hay i been having this mpc-2k for a while now and when i load sounds to it works fine but sometimes when i touch the volume knob or rec knob it does not play the sounds i have to mess with it to get it working or it goes to left or right. i wanted to know if there is anything that i can do to fix this problem. thanks...

Sounds like some type of shortage. You should let a certified person look at it. I DO NOT RECOMMEND you mess with it inless u know what u doing. Get a Jahrome on here he knows alot about MPCs he can probaly help along with others on here.

most of the time, the easiest spot to find that would be your local Music Store such as Guitar Center or whatever music store who sells akai products or maybe by chance at least samplers and sequencers, they maybe can tell you who they know of in there store or closes to the area you are in
