Stupid Question # 4,483... sampler & computer connection?

ok i'll start with what i'm working with if it may give some insight and whatnaut!

Apple G4 with Digi 001/PT 6.0
Akai MPC 2000xl
turntable etc....


so i realize i should get this ****...**ahem** i mean this sampler hooked up to the computer. but how? through Digi 001? another pci slot?
then..... how will i be able to load sounds into the MPC from the disks and stuff? internet perhaps?

Audio outs of your MPC fo into the audio ins of your compter sound card.

Transfering data files has to be done by a common disk system to both Mac and computer - like zip disk (both in PC format).
