Hello,
I'm having trouble sending a song from my MPC2000XL to my Korg d1200 multitrack recording station. I have both units hooked up using a midi cable, it's plugged into my MPC in the OUT A and into my Korg in the IN. I set the MPC to master and the Korg to slave but the MPC manual or the Korg manual really don't explain enough about the other settings or how to even send a song. Do I use midi clock or the other settting (I can't think of the name right now, the one with the "frames" setting...) or do I just set this to off? And what about the the midi messages thing, MMC? On or off? I don't even understand what these settings are? The manual assumes the reader knows what they mean, I don't. From what I can tell, the DUMP button is to send sounds to another midi device and MIDIsw is to use pedals and stuff, I'm not doing any of that. There's no SEND button to send the song...? How do I do this? Hit playstart? Thanks very much.
