Just wondering what tools yall use when creating sounds to load in your MP

Right now I been getting down with that Recycle program after learning about it in the tuturial.

My patna gave me the program awhile back but I just started playing around with it.

what other techniques are yall using to build up your sound libraries

Or do yall just buy or use sound modules and sounds on zip disk

i hit the dollar bin, and record mad stuff off of these. FRI nights, I sit down and go thru these massive tracks of just recordings, and pull sounds, play with them, etc. the ones I like I eq, normalize and save on my pc to burn to cd and load in the mpc.

I record off of tv, I carry a mini mic with me wherever I go and record sounds, you want some cool kicks? record that low rumble in the back of the bus when it pulls away from the curb. that bad boy kicks.....

Just thought I would add that a basket ball hitting the pavement with a bit of tickle makes a mean punchy kick and put a mic inside a canned food tin, with a lower filter setting makes a pretty cool snare

yall got some wild methods
but they make you think "outside the box"
and that's cool
