Whatz the deal
I have been thinking about getting a zip drive( these 1.44mb disk are killing me, all over the floor and just so many of them :D ) and a cd rom drive, but I have a few questions if they can be answered.

1. if i get a external zip drive is it possible to get a usb one for my computer, and a scsi one for my Mpc. Could i go back and forth from computer and mpc with out any problems.( i guess this is two questions in one. :D )

2. if i got the cd rom drive as well how could i hook up both (cd rom, zip drive) to my mpc?

3 or is it better to not worry about the cd rom since i will have the usb zip drive hook up to the computer anyway.

Thanks and all and any help is great.

1. Yes. I have a external SCSI hooked the the MPC and an external IDE drive hooked to my PC and I take and edit samples in Cool Edit Pro save them to a zip and load them via zip into the MPC.

2. Yes. With SCSI you can "daisy chain" everything together like the zip is hooked to the mpc and then the cd-rom is hooked to the zip.

3. Personally I wouldnt get a cd-rom if I already had a zip I would get an external hard drive.
