Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

Please help. trying to convert some program and midi files that were made on a 2000xl to work on my 2000. The sounds work but the sequences and programs don't. I got translator free but that doesn't do it.

MIDI and PGM files only. not SEQ.
