Question...

Ive got a question... Ive really wanted to get an mpc, so i started saving up, i got like 700(one more oz to push). But ive started to worry its a big investment and im dont know much about music, all ive know how to use is my friends drum machine. But the question is... I have a very strong desire to learn and if i get one would i be able to learn how to use the 2000xl just by reading the manual?
