Is there anywhere on the web i can find a mpc 2000(not xl) tutorial? i see one on this site but its only for xl users.

While you are looking and can't find one, try going through the manual and pushing the buttons you are actually reading about, this can help also. DO the stuff you are reading about and it might make sense until you can find a tutorial.

Listen to Lamp and also check samplekings.com they have some books and dvd's on the 2000.
