MIDI SYNCING MY MPC TO THE PC

How would I midi sync (with Midi Time Code or Midi Clock whichever is more on point) my mpc 2000xl to my PC for multitracking AUDIO in ACID 4.0. My mpc is sequencing an asr 10 rack at the moment if it matters.

Midi out (A or B) of the mpc to midi in of your midi interface. Press shift-midi/sync on the mpc. In the sync out section select the correct midi output(A or B) change mode to midi clock. In acid go to options-preferences-sync and select your midi device for sync. If you want the mpc to control the transport in acid turn send mmc on in your mpc. Make sure to set the tempo in acid to the same tempo as the mpc. Press record in acid and then press play on the mpc, acid should start recording in sync with the mpc.
