Wassup dawgz,
I got my brand new 2kXL yesterday - and i must say i'm very impressed, its such a user friendly, smooth machine - definately worth the cash. I also got a zip drive installed and a digital 8 in/out mixer board for the sale price! Do they both come standard now or what?
Anyways, i was just doing some looping of beats {not exactly sure what} this afternoon, and all of a sudden it crashed on me! The screen had "prgoramme error" or something on it, and there were a whole heap of numbers an shit, and all the samples were playing, it was freaky as! I had to turn the machine off at the power, and when i turned it back on all my work was gone which sucked.
Just wandering what would have caused this? Is it normal? Or should i look into it? I'd had the MPC on for around 3-4 hours before, and I had opened the case up {yesterday} to install the in/out board - but i made sure everything went where it was supposed to, and i didnt touch anything besides the in/out board.
And i've been using it from around 1pm this afternoon till 7 tonite and its been fine...whats up with this?
