just installed memory on my 2000, but its still not working

....its still looking like i only have 2 megs? am i missing something? or did i just install the memory incorrectly?

u might have installed it in correctly or u could have gotten the wrong memory for it

Where did you get the memory? I tried different memory from old pcs and no one worked. Then I tried 32 meg from my s3000xl and it works. I think you have the wrom mem

i ordered it off of ebay, so im pretty sure it should be the right one, unless i got got by a scammer.

and im pretty sure i installed it in the correct direction, but ill try again.

tip number 1. don't cop shit like memory from ebay i think i only paid like 40 dollars at guitar center just go there that way u know your gettin the right stuff and if u not sure how to put it in they will do that for u too

man, i tired my guitar center, and they dont know shit. they dont have ANY mpc, and i have asked and asked and asked, and they never got any info for me at all, so there goes that idea. they only do reason and keyboards there.

I got my memory straight off ebay and it worked fine for me.
