Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

I'm putting together a hot disc of sounds that I want to market for the MPC (& other sample based equipment). The problem I'm running into is this: the discs that I'm making are being read by the 2000XL, but not the 2000.
I'm using my MAC to chop (in Bias Peak) and burn (toast) the discs. I'm putting the samples in both .wav & .aiff format.
Do you have any idea as to why I keep getting ?? on the 2000?
Thanks in advance for your help!

Since this gets asked every few days and no one seems to know, we have assumed that the non-XL model has problems reading regularly written CDR's.

Here's what I do to make sample CD's:
1) Save about 500 meg of programs to my MPC3000 formatted drive.
2) Connect the drive to the computer.
3) Using disk imaging software to create an ISO file of the drive.
4) Use just about any CD writing software to made a CD if this image.
5) This CD can be be read by MPC60 with 3.1 OS, MPC3000, MPC2000, MPC2000XL (and possibly the MPC4000).

The same would work with your XL, but the CD's can only be read by the MPC2000 and XL.
