8 out mixing

ok i have a mpc2000xl with 8 outs and i have a 8 track mixer...what i want to do is mix certain sounds/samples to my liking...how do i go about doing this step by step? also, i was wondering if the mpc can save the changes i make to the sounds with the mixer...if you know anything please drop some knowledge...thanks

MPC can't save mixer changes unless your mixer has midi. Adjust the eq and levels and then record. otherwise, just use your mpc 's internal mixer, or resample your sounds with the eq (too much of a pain in the ass if you ask me).
