New Top Panel????

Does anyone know where I can find a top panel replacement for the mpc2000?

What's wrong with the one you've got?
I work in a music store that has inside one of the 2 Akai authorized service centers. It's called TSI(Techni-Serve-Industries). This is on the East coast close to NYC. The other one is VST in California. The Akai Pro web site has both numbers. They should be able to order one for you. It might have to be the blue one though. Unless they have old enclosures.

I bought it from someone who had tried to paint it and did a terrible job.

I just wanted to have the original faceplate back. Those are for the 2000 classic and not the xl, right? Because I have a 2000 classic.

They aren't showing any love for the 2k owners.I asked about it before but Akai seems to only make faceplates in different colors for the xl.You might be able to track one down in the beige through Vst or Akai,maybe even Guitar Center.

I have an MPC for parts and I would be glad to sell you the 2k cover. It has a few scratches but nothin out the way let me know whats up.

p.s. You can have the whole MPC for 200 bucks. It does have issues but u can get parts from it though.

My friend made a new top panel out of a Count Chocula cereal box.

I still have the screen if u want it. $25 bucks and its yours.

Yeah I am. If it was possible, I'd use Franken BErry for sure. Much sweeter.
