Hey i have a problem i just resently installed a internal zip diver ... and the green light lights up when its starts up but goes off and it wont let me put in a disk... and my Akai keeps telling me Not Ready! ... i wanna know if there is anyway i can fix this or if anyone else had the same problem... If all elce fail i guess i will go back to floppy
If theres no disk in the drive, it will say "not ready".
I had that disk problem though, it wouldnt go in, i dont know what it was, but i just jiggled the disk around for a while until it went in. Never had that problem again...
