Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

I have recently been having problems with my SCSI drive or the SCSI system within the MPC so I've been looking for a way to xfer .pgm and .snd files to my mpc via midi using sysex. I have an application called SysEx Librarian in which I had luck transferring sysex data to and from a Korg Triton, a Novation QS4, and a Kawai K5000s but only luck sending data to and from the MPC (no audio files) Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Hey... any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated... I'm trying to send samples to my MPC from a software program on my powerbook via midi using sysex, I dont know how to do it... I've figured it out on all my other gear... MY SCSI IS INOPERATIVE. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

sysex only transfers data, not audio no matter what you do...

well, u can transmit audio files via midi, but it takes hours to send.
like the other guy said, multicard reader is best.
