i loaded drums from a floppy on my pads, and try to change the pitch with the note variation. when i turned off the note variation to play the drums, ther was no sound, but when i turn the note variation back on the sounds come back on. also sometimes when i load up sounds they play for a while, then the sounds are gone. need help. :(

the drums were all ready placed on the pads, then i was playing around with the note variation, switched back to the main sequence screen and the sounds were gone. this happens somtimes even when i don't mess with the note variation. thanks for replying.

Are you assigning the sounds to different pads?I know it might sound dumb but that could be a problem.

Ah,so you are using the 16 levels and then using the note variation from there?

Man that's something that has never happened on my mpc. Uh I'm going to assume that maybe there's a internal problem, because whenever I use the note variation from the 16 level option or just at the main screen from any sound on any of the pads. once I'm done using the note variation ever sound that i've assigned to a pad is always still there. sorry I couldn't help but I keep researching for you. :?

good looking out. this problem does not happen all the time. i am thinking it is the disc i am using, i downloaded some sounds and that is when i started having the problem. i appreciate you and stryke helping me out. i played around again with the note variation and did not have the problem. thanks again. :D
