Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

Does anyone know if there is a quick way to de-mix tracks on the 2000XL?
By this I mean say you've just programed a track with a kick, snare, hats an shakers. Is there a quick way to separate this one track into four separate ones?

It's not too time consuming doing it manually when using samples on the MPC, but when your using an external sound module it can be quite long winded.

what i do is let say in your case i would copy the track 4 times. Then on one track i would goto erase and hit the pad that has the snare and erase. And now you should have a track with just the kick high hat etc. hope this helps it is the easiest way i know. I am s=doing this using the erase function. not very detailed sorry don't have much time to respond. then do this with the other tracks and leave only one element in each track.

just use track copy, to copy out the snare and hats from track 1 ( you can only do 1 sound at a time if you specify), to tracks 2 & 3. they will still be on track 1 with thew kick so just erase them there. the same as above basicly but a lil bit different.
