getting a cd rom drive

hi
does any type of scsi external cd rom drive work with mpc 2000xl?
im thinkin of getting this from ebay

WORKING, USED! NEC 8XE SCSI cdrom drive (tray loader) NO CADDIES REQUIRED!

Has:
2 mini 50 pin external SCSI connectors, termination jumpers, remote ID switch, internal autosensing (100-240vac) power supply, 50 pin internal cabeling.

(12$!)

will that work?

i have no problem with them, its just their preset jacking, biting, and lack of creativity are making hip hop a little stagnant

i dont think he's knockin thier obvious skills...i just wonder if i got that would i become that lazy?
