floppy drive not working

i installed the 8-outs today. When i finished rescrewing the mpc back together i put a floppy disk in to load some drums and it doesnt want to read the files. when it loads up, it shows some funny letters. what the hell should i do !!

You may have damaged your floppy during the installation of the 8 outs. Check your connection and make sure that it all connections to the floppy drive are hooked up. If they are, that floppy drive is done, because floppy drives are VERY sensitive and damage easily...your best bet is to just buy a new one.
