Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

I just sampled something from a record & it's not like I haven't before but I never came across this yet. I tried this twice..

I sampled a record without adjusting the speed and it sounds fine when I play it back in the sample mode, but when I play it from the pad, it sounds slowed down. Then I tried a speeding up the sample and the same thing. Also when I go to Trim, it sounds fine. Not sure how I can adjust that or if I'm doing something wrong when I'm sampling it.

Thanks for any help, I appreciate it.

Go into your params and make sure you haven't changed the pitch and that note after/variation slider is off.

yea go into program and hit the pad you want then hit params. it might be tuned up/down like stryke said.

I tried that.. hmm see what it does it sounds slowed down on the main screen but when I went to params it sounded fine. Note variation is off as well. Any other thoughts? Thanks as well for helping out..

Have you been messing with the slider? You may have chosen that pad with the slider hence the reason it sounds slower.

yeah, i use to bump into that same problem where one pad plays it slowed down....but i would just fix the parameter when it occured or just moved the note to another pad.
