lets say i complete a beat consisting of several sequences with NO swing on any of those sequences.
.
lets also say i wanted to put on the kick snare and hats for that beat.
.
.
would i need to go to each sequence and on each track of kick snare hat; would i add swing?

.
.doesn't that seem a bit tedious ... is there a faster way?.. or is it best find the amount of swing at the very beginning of making a beat?

i think you may have to do it for each sequence u want swing...but for a single sound (hat, snare, kick, etc.) you just go to the swing function and in the parameters where it says "Notes:" just tap the sound you want swing on...if u already know this then disregard it..im still a newb on this machine

You can swing a whol track in a song by doing your song in song mode then converting it to a sequence and then swing you isht in there. not really sure if that is the answer you needed- i know the swing function in and out so if you need any help let me know.
