TIME STRETCH

why when i time stretch a sample then return to the main screen 2 record the sample i just time stretched is still the original

You have to asing the new timestretched sample to the pad you want.
If you timestretch, it makes a copy of the Original sample.

look through your manual and read up on time stretch and assigning a sample to a pad.

lol Shift + 6 (program), then select your Program & Assign. Page 116 I think
