what you do is go into the program asssign screen, shift and second down from the right on the blue keypad (the one that has "prgm" on it). Then select program 1 (or whatever program u wanna assign). hit a pad. the pad will come up on the screen with no sound assigned to it. scroll over and use the wheel to assign a sound to the pad. do it for all the sounds in memory u wanna assign then purge the memory to get rid of unused sounds and save the program.
