2000 reads wavs?

i know the XL reads wav's but does the old 2000? i RTFM but it didn't say anything about wavs.

also MpcPgmMaker works ok with the old 2000? i know that this pgm converts wavs to snd.

i don't own one yet (used to) and i'd like to know this info before i move on one. i know it would be easier to just get a 1000 for computer xfers but i had one and hated it. the pads were not fun..

download os ver 1.70 and up and you will be able to read wavs.
It's in the OS update addendum . Your manual is for a version OS lower than 1.70 am I correct?
