MMC?help

i just bought a roland 12 track and i want to record my beats...having each track on the mpc to its own track on the Recorder. I need to have everything line up perfect so i should use MMC right? I tried hooking it up so that the recorder controled the start and stop of the mpc but after hours of reading and looking i cant do it...any help is appriciated thanks....

Hm. You need to use Midi Time COde as well as MMC.
Seach the forum first, i've seen many post on this topic these last few months. If you don't figure it out i'll post a step by step for ya.

It works the other way around, with your mpc controlling your multitrack. If this doesn't work for you let me know.

why not just use the midi clock: out of the roland(master) into the mpc(slave)

Because midi clock has the worst timing when multitracking. MTC and SMPTE are many times better.
