mpc 2000xl reads g4 hd

A friend of mine went to a studio in houston and said they had a mpc 2000xl connected via scsi to the scsi port of aMac g4 and the engineer would load sample from the mac harddrrive into the mpc via scsi...can anyone verify this....because my homey is just a rapper and doesnt know something he insist on talking about...

no u cannot do that , unless its in a daisy chain and that might be suspect as well
