MPC2000 and the ZIPdisk and drve(Question?)

I cannot formatt iomega zip100 disk,is there another brand to use to make this work ? I tried format from MPC2000 to scsi iomega zip drive w/ disk and it reads: scsi not ready. what can remedy this problem?

I have same problem....what works for my MPC is to use jog wheel and go from 5 up or down one # (7 or 4) and then go back to 5 and it should read it.
