SCSI DRIVE/PC

...i have the 2kxl...i use the iomega 100mb scsi external drive to save and load snds...what i would like to do is store my snds and seq on the hardrive of of dell laptop...i have the proper scsi to usb cable to connect my laptop...when i attempt to load a disk from mp- i get a "please inset disk in--"...does the pc recognize mp- format...by the way, when i save snds on zip disk, what format is it in...what do i need to do from this point...oh, i also forgot to mention that i have a disk that read "disk read error" on the mp- when i try to load it...i was hopin' that i can try to load on my laptop, drag the files off on to the hardrive, reformat the disk and keep makin' beats...
