Do you want to copy the entire contents of a disk to another zip? If so, you can't do that on the mpc in one pass. The only way to do that on the mpc, as you probably know, is to load each .all, .pgm, .aps etc, eject disk, insert new/backup disk, and save each file on the new disk. Or if you have an scsi drive as well as an internal atapi zip drive, you could just toggle between atapi and scsi drives on the mpc when saving and loading. ...Either way, its not something you want to do with a full disk.
Do you have a computer that you might be able to get an scsi interface for?
Chances are your disks have been formatted on your mpc, right?... You can't load mpc-formatted disks into your pc. But for future, getting scsi for for computer would be worthwhile.
So I guess what it comes down to is, with your current mpc-formatted disks, the ony way you are going make backup copies is to go through that tedious process on the mpc. But make it easy for yourself in the future, start formatting your zips on your pc and that way you will be able to simply load and copy the entire disk in one shot.
