Converting .AIFF files to play in the MPC. Can it be done?

Hey all,

I have some .AIFF files on CD that I want to use in the MPC2kXL but it doesnt recognize the files. Can these be played in the MPC or converted somehow to .WAV files and is it easy to do so? In other words if I have a thousand sounds can they be converted easily or do they have to be done one by one, even if they can be converted and used at all? I have a PC if that makes any difference either, not MAC. Please help!! PEACE, 1love

you can dump bundles of sounds on that thing and let that shit convert on the fly.... just don't panic when it seems like your pc is lockin' up...

i had copped a sample cd from some net cat and the files were in ADPCM microsft .WAV format.... and that isn't compatiable with the mpc.... so i had to convert like a thousand sounds in PCM microsoft .WAV format....

Thanks xk....its slow as hell for me, but it works...could be my processor/Ram speed...peace, BsK
