cant seem to get it

Okay I know im probably overlooking something, but I have a quick question.

I have an EPS 16 plus and a mpc2kxl. I have it hooked up midi, and I can play a sound from the eps and record it to the mpc fine.

But I cant get it to allow me to play a sound from the mpc on the keys.

Im pretty sure all the settings in the MPC are right. Do I have to set something in the EPS??

you may have to have the MPC on whatever midi channell
you wanna control on th eps (like MPC 1a should control eps midi1)
at least thats how it is with the MPC and the trinity...
i could be wrong im still a MPC new booty

Are you running one MIDI cable to the EPS, or do you have 2 via the "handshake method"?

You need the OUT of the EPS to one of the INs on the MPC and the corresponding OUT (A with 1, B with 2) of the MPC to the IN on the EPS.
