Midi problem. ? pics.

Got the xl and a midi keyboard. and i want to use the computer as a sound modul.

I got the correct setup and all, so I can record into the mp, with the keyboard.

Heres the problem, i got cubase sx3, but it wont play any sounds up. when I hit a key on the mp or keyboard, the midi in lights up and all. but no sound?

I tried the same thing reason and it worked fine.

The thing is i cant pres the keyboard in cubase, int wount let out any sound, but when i "paint" the notes the sound will come.

try clicking on that little speaker next to the record enable button! all your midi settings look fine, its something in cubase i think.

Seems strange. Like its probably a simple fix. I don't know about this stuff, though. You'll probably get (quicker) help from a cubase forum.
