Desperate for help...

i just got my mpc today off ebay, it came with 5 disks not the cd. so im following all of the steps in the manual to load the sounds, then i get to the primary device screen and no sounds end up getting assigned to the pads when i press...no noise. thanks for the help

Assign samples to the pads when u load.

how do i do that?

i got the pm... didnt work...i thought that the sounds would automatically get assigned to the pads once i loaded it

when u load sounds u have to hit the pad u want it to go to, then press DO IT. BAMM, sound is loaded into that pad..

hahahha, i just figured that out...wow how obvious. sorry about the dumb questions, but thanks alot for all the help! now that i figured that out im makin tons of beats.
