Needing Help With My Setup & Questions...

Alright, here is the scoop fellas. I own the MPC 2000XL. I currently have my MPC hooked up to my home theatre system. From there, the home theatre is going to my pc. So my pc sounds essentialy play thru the home theatre and my mpc plays through it as well. So let me tell you my problem and if I should get this piece of equip or even if it's worth it, or just your own perspective on this.

My sound from my mpc when I'm creating a beat sounds fine. What I do is basically play the beat and have it record thru Cool Edit Pro. I try mixing it down w/the program. What I'm experiencing is some skipping when I play it back, now I posted about this a wk ago and a couple ppl have been helpful with it.. but I still haven't really fixed the problem. So what I was thinking, I was looking through my Musicians Friend magazine and came across this..

Which would enable me to mix my tracks and also burn it right on there, from what I see. Would this go directly to my mpc or pc? Would this in your honest opinion be a good buy or do you recommend me to get something else?

There is absolutly nothing that can do that your PC wont, plus the PC could do ALOT more. I have the same problem you have with recording the MPC into the computer. Spending that much on a tempory problem isnt worth it. I cant help you with figguring out how to fix your computer prob but if you want the sliders for when you mixing you could get a controller, m-audio do 1 for like $200. Thats jst my 2c.
