Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

When you're on the Trim Screen, use your "F" key to select Zone. The MPC defaults to 8 or 16 Zones. Regardless, you can change the number of zones. You can preview the zones before actually doing the chop. I'm going off the top of my head so I know these aren't the best instructions...and I bet somebody is gonna tell you that you should've did a search before asking. But it's that simple...use zones, set the zone areas and then use Edit to "SLICE."

the 2000 doesnt have zoning like the xl does

he dont even need to search the boards though, just read the manual. or do what i did, and mess with the machine. Sometimes you can learn better by figuring it out yourself.

i havent had much time to play with my xl but i did do this once. it seems the pad assignment was almost automatic after i broke the beak into 16 parts. it's definitely in the manual where they talk about slicing.
