is this chopping samples into zones with mpc 2k

i got a mpc 2k and i looked through the maual but i couldnt find it but i think i worked out how to chop samples. Do u got to trim click znedit then use the start and end to make your zones. if so how do u then assign them to pads. thnkz yall

Yeah thats like the zone function for the 2000, which is a bit different from the the zoning on the XL.

ight kooo thnkz man do u kno how i would get mi high lighted zone to a pad?

I'm an XL user, but once you have the zone highlighted with the your start and end points, press edit and save that zone as a chop. From there open the program screen, hit the pad you want to assign the sound to and use the scroll wheel to select the new sound, assigning it to that pad.
