Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

I am currently using my MPC 2000XL with an E-MU Planet Phatt and a Korg Ttinity. I just purchased a Roland XV-3080, but don't know how to connect it to my MPC.. I am currently controlling the Planet Phatt with MIDI A and the Trinity with MIDI B.. How can I resolve this problem?? Your help will be greatly appreciate it!!

By the way, I tried connecting the XV-3080 to the MIDI THRU of the Planet Phatt, but when I set the MPC to MIDI A both modules sound at the same time..

go into your midi devices and assign midi channels 1-16 to each of them pick one number
then dial up those numbers in the midi portion on sequence page of the mpc
each number corresponds to that device
you can control
32 devices via midi a/b channels 1-16

i have a similar set up. on the 3080 there is a midi recieve button on the far right (midi RX) just press that and you can turn off like 1-8 just by pressing all the buttons that are lit. on the planet phatt you have to go to the the master button then scroll until you get to the midi channel screen , there you can choose on or off for all the channels. Good luck. Peace
