Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

Aiight, this is the deal;

I got my drums on one track and a 16 leveled bass line on another track. The bass pattern is similar to the pattern of the bass drumm hitting. When I solo the bass track the bass plays fine without interruption. When I unsolo it some of the bass notes cut out or don't play at all when the bass drum hits. WTF is going on? It's not a frequency issue because the bass drum and bass are on different frequencies. What the f*ck is going on? Somebody help me!!!!

You prolly have your note off setting set on those two pads. Go to the parameters screen for the pad that the kick is on. Hit the open window button on the note off field. Make sure that there are no pads assigned to be switched off by the kick..

I too thought that may have something to do with it but I only have a Hi-hat, bass drum, snare, bass line and one sample going on. I don't know WTF is happening

I thought about that too. I think I'm gonna try that when I get home
