IDE hard drives and Mpc2000xl (internally connected)...

Hi there i've been trying to install a removable caddy/with an IDE hard drive connecting the caddy to the IDE/ATAPI slot of the MPC. The MPC boots up fine but doesnt detect the Drive (ive got O.S. 1.20) I was expecting it to work similarly to the card reader installation but it hasn't Ive got a 10GB drive. The caddy recieve power externally and is connected to the MPC through the IDE slot (as aforementioned) Could any of you guys help

i'm not sure but it could have to do with 0s1.20 being only for mcd drives. also i dont think the xl will recognize all 10 gigs anyways.

check http://mpc2000xl.com/Internalhd.htm on how to install internal ide drives in the mpc2000xl. But imo an internal card reader with a 1 gig cf card will get you a long way. So I don't really see the use of and internal 10 gig drive but that is just my opinion.
