mpc2000xl and Roland jv-880

hello i'm using mpcxl and a roland jv-880. how do i use the strings sounds fromm the jv-880 and thedrum sounds from the mpcxl? will i need a mixer?or is there something esle i need to buy ? thanks again akai

use a midi cable to link the two and use a mixer of some sorts to hear them together. I listen to all my stuff through a mixer first and when I am finished a beat I dump it all into my vs1880.

I use a mpc2000xl, jv1080, jv1010, mo phatt... and a 4 channel mixer.
