Drumsound is delayed, when using the 8 Outputs, weird stuff?

If you got a mpc 2000xl at hand:
put the same sound(e.g. Metronom) on 10 pads,
assign the 10 pads to the 10 outputs (L/R & 1-8 ), then
record the 10 outputs at the same time
in with a mupltiple a/d board in your audioworkstation and look at the waveforms,
you may find out, that output 8 will be delayed several milliseconds,
while Output L and R will be first, the signal will be delayed more and more,
the higher the number of the output. it is only about milliseconds, but worth it to mention.
Can anyone confirm this? or is it just me?

Is the order of delay related to the output or could it be the pad number? And do you record the pads all on the same track ?

Try 10 PADS, 10 SOUNDS, and 10 OUTPUTS and see what you see.
Triggering the same sound 10 times is probably what you are seeing.
The delay would then be the actual time it take the processor to be able to actually retrigger the same sound since even thought it's on multiple pads it is still the same sample being triggered by 10 pads.
MPC pad response and polyphony has always been a little strange for my liking.
