What type of audio cables (brand) do you guys uses for your setup?? I'm getting a lot of electrical noise(hum) in my recordings.. I bought my audio cables at Radio Shack.. Wanted to know what you guys suggest to get no or at least close to no noise.. By the way, What's the difference between the regular audio cables and the ones that have the gold-platted connectors?? Thank you in advance for your help and suggestions..

Gold plated has better conectivity. Use shielded cables. Sounds like your cables are unshielded or you have many electrical things going on near your cables and it is causing a 60hz electromagnetic hum.

yeah dont skimp on the cables. make sure you dont have a bunch of audio cables crossing your power cables. try to keep em seperate. you migght want to look into a power conditioner too.

you must have them close to power cables , cuz i use RS wires and i don't hear feed back or hummin,
i don't have a lot a money and my plugs are all cheap.

may be that explains why my sh!t don't sound tight like some of youths.

eventually ill get good wires but ,right now! i gots to stick with what ever,

just keep your sh!t away from HI-VOLTAGE wires and POWER packs.

monster cables are in my opinion the best. the only downside is you wind up spending an average of $20 per cable. expensive yet worth it.

Can't get better than Monster for real.. Get a grip of loot and go monster all the way and you will hear the biggest improvment of your life next to going all optical..
