LCD screen reapair??help

i was messing with my 2000xl then the lcd screen just looked dull.
i can't really see what i'm chopping up. It looks like the screen is gonna dissapear soon.

where can i get a new screen or is there anything else i can do to fix it?

oh just hold shift and turn the wheel to adjust the contrast
