Where do i set the Channel i want to work on in the MPC 2000 XL?

Lower left where it says drum change that to midi and 1A.

i have it set to S: MIDI: 1A-Device01

this means its set to what channel?

So if my Drum Map Mananger the CHannel says 10

i have to set the mpc to MIDI: 10A-Device10 ?
