Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

I want to transfer my samples from my pc to my scsi hard drive but I cant make the pc to read the drive when its mpc-formated. Is the only way to transfer files to load them up from zips in the mpc memory and then save to the hard drive, 32 Mb at a time? And is it possible to have bigger partitions than about 1Gb in the mpc?
I dont have the drive connected to the mpc and the scsi at the same time.

This have probably been asked about before... Cant find it.

Yep, that's it.

ok, maybe a noisey 9Gb Hard drive isnt such a good idea. Im to lazy to transfer my samples. It would be nice if there was a program that could read and write to mpc harddrive thru scsi.
