wusup fam ... keys gotta quick question...
one of my homies who spins locally was kind enough to let me hold
one of his numark CDX's for a couple days
it has MIDI in/out .... i dropped it in the matrix all is well and good ..
sweet piece .. you can do a quick 8 bar .. press it to CD
cut your self in and out ..loop and all that ...
my question is ...
ive been trying to use it as a controller .. ie ~ to be able to assign the jog wheel on top to a midi channell and assign that channell to a sound .. so i can like cut on a kick or a stab .. but i cant seem to get it to work ....
any of you ever try this .. if so did it work ... i surfed a while lookin for
info on it .. alotta DJ's dig em .. but ive not heard or seen one in a production capacity ...
what ya think bout it???
