hi,
just wondering how often users out there crash the mpc? i owned the 2000 since 1999, upgraded to the xl a few years ago, and on both boxes, i sometimes get "error at (5 or 6 numbers) " while a song is playing, and when it ends, the screen fills with rows of letters and numbers. this happens when im not even touching the thing, i will be playing live and look away for a second, and then i see the error message. it used to only happen when i pre-arranged my live set as a bunch of sequences in song mode, but a few nights ago i was using next sequence-pad mode and it crashed, luckily it was on the last song... i was using about 1160K of song memory, and had more than half of sound memory free, so the thing wasnt maxed out. anyone else have similar problems, or know how to avoid them?
